I don't question that apparently Silas and Gim have been wearing the exact same clothes for the past two years.
Actually, for Gim, it is completely believable. For Silas... we reason Gimmick keeps him so busy with her inventions that he does not have time to go out shopping for more clothes.
That is actually how Silas and Gimmick met. She crash landed an early attempt at a flight device right in front of him.
